It may be a longshot, but Warriors' owner Joe Lacob, general manager Bob Myers and head coach Mark Jackson are in Los Angeles to meet with Howard this afternoon. They are reportedly prepared to offer Andrew Bogut and Klay Thompson or Harrison Barnes in a sign and trade for Howard. Unloading the expiring contracts of Richard Jefferson or Andris Biedrins along with Bogut is also a possibility since the teams' pitch to get Howard involves playing with Barnes, Thompson and Stephen Curry.
