Ironically, the same protesters lined up against the military just three short years ago, in overthrowing the Mubarak government. The citizens of Nile Delta city of Mahalla el-Kubra chanted for Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, the head of the Egyptian military to force Morsi to abandon his office. Morsi would be receptive to a deal at this point but the millions of protesters want nothing less that Morsi's resignation. He enraged the populace, when he tried to grab dictorial powers.
