In nEgypt, The military takes Over

Ironically, the same protesters lined up against the military just three short years ago, in overthrowing the Mubarak government. The citizens of Nile Delta city of Mahalla el-Kubra chanted for Gen. Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi, the head of the Egyptian military to force Morsi to abandon his office. Morsi would be receptive to a deal at this point but the millions of protesters want nothing less that Morsi's resignation. He enraged the populace, when he tried to grab dictorial powers. The military claims they will not become involved in politics, but it was the Egyptian military that backed Mubarak and shored up his regime until it became evident that he would be gone one way or another.
