Many companies have taken long, or have been reluctant to make the move over to renewable energy. The only other major technology company to take this leap is Facebook which also uses 100% renewable energy sources. Apple making a move like this could shift major corporations to do the same. There is nothing more important in the future of technology than renewable energy where green IT has risen to the forefront for many organizations.
